![]() ![]() Parts are coming in by Friday will let you know if all works. and then arrange the multiport hub as so: FW Pratt supplied this info to me from HTF forum. It is a nice safety feature when you are running offshore alone or with another person. one way, to get a place to plug in an adapter cable to your NMEA 2000 backbone, is to replace the in-line hub with a multi-hub. I had it hooked up last year but left it inside the console until I cut in the larger chartplotter display and found a spot on the dash to mount it. I also finished the mounting of the FELL Marine MOB+ Wireless Kill Switch xHub just below the echoMAP display. I'll probably just shut the network power off when drifting.īTW. So it will be an additional draw on the batteries if I shut down the engine while fishing and leave the electronics on as I normally do. I haven't been able to put the boat in the water to dial in the transducers and see the complete engine data working yet but it looks good so far! One other thing to note is that when I switch the power on to the NMEA2000 backbone, the engine sensors are powered up just like when I would turn the key on to the accessory position before starting. When I powered everything up the echoMAP seemed to auto recognize the engine data. ![]() spot on with his directions that he posted on this site! The only exception to his directions was that I needed to buy an Oceanic Systems Yamaha Hub to NMEA 2000 Cabling Extender - 3862 rather then the wire that he listed because I was going from the Yahama hub to a NMEA2000 backbone rather then straight from the Yamaha hub into the echoMAP NMEA2000 port. I completed the NMEA2000 network linking the echoMAP with the Icom M506 AIS VHF radio and the Yamaha F200 engine data. I added a Garmin echoMAP Ultra 106sv (with the supplied Garmin GT54UHD-TM Transducer and a Garmin Panoptix Livescope Lvs12 Transducer). So I finally finished my electronics upgrades (since I'm social distancing anyway). ![]()
